ST ALBANS PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ NETBALL TOURNAMENT 2017

On Saturday 18th March, Bernards Heath JNR took part in the ST ALBANS PRIMARY SCHOOLS NETBALL TOURNAMENT 2017 at The High School in Wheathampstead. It was a dry day and the event began at 1pm. There were 5 teams in the pool and each game lasted 10 minutes with a change of ends. 
Unfortunately all the team were not available so Lottie, from Yr 5, stepped in again and played against children older than her and with a team she was not used too. Thank you Lottie.
The team played extremely well against some tough opposition and came away with a few loses, and a couple of draws. We may not have won the tournament but the girls won the Daphne Payne Fair Play Award which we share with Park Street. This is an award for team sportsmanship.
Mrs. Kilpatrick came to support us along with many parents and a few pictures were tweeted on the day.
The netball season is now closed so I would like to thank all the children at club and to the parents that helped with lifts.
