Yesterday two teams of year 5 and 6 boys played against Fleetville in friendly football games. In the first game despite battling hard and playing some good football the boys lost 4 -0. Thank you to Mr Burgess for stepping in to help referee the game and supporting the boys. In the second game it was a closer game with lots of goals from both sides. I think we were unlucky to lose 4 -3. Well done Glenn for scoring twice.

On Friday Year 4s played a football match against Wheatfields. All the boys played very well and it was a close game with no goals scored in the first half. In the second half we had a lot of shots on goal with their goal keeper making some good saves. But we kept going and Gabriel and Kobi both scored. The final score was 2-0. A good result for the boys. Well done.

Friday afternoon was the time, on the netball court was the place! Year 6 held their end of unit tournament!
The children played for their house groups and showed expertly the skills that they had learnt. Both boys and girls displayed great sportsmanship and Miss Brown would like to thank the Sports Photographs - Robert Brown, Kirsty Reed and Ellen Bennett - great pictures!
The house that won the most matches was......Topaz closely followed by Sapphire!
