Wix Cup Match v Maple

On Tuesday we had our first football game playing as a new team. It was a cup game against a very strong side from Maple. It was a very exciting game with chances at both end but no goals in the first half. In the second half we came out strongly and scored early on. Unfortunately Maple responded very quickly and almost immediately scored leveling the game again.  Despite our best efforts we weren't able to score again and the game ended in a draw.  This means we replay later this term.
The boys can be proud and we certainly have something positive to build on for the rest of the season.
