Yesterday children from years 3, 4
and 5 went to St John Fisher school to compete in a mini athletics competition.
The children took part in different activities including sprints, relays, a
long distance run and throwing against three other schools. All of the children put in 100% effort and really
did our school proud. In particular the year 5's had to step in for the year 6s
while they were in Wales so were competing against much older teams. Well done
to all of the children and to two of the boys who won their individual sprints.
Thank you to the parents who helped and came along to support. All the children
looked liked they had fun and enjoyed taking part!
