Netball Matches wk 27th - 3rd March

There are 2 netball matches next week - away at Maple on the 27th February and Abbey away on the 3rd March. That will be our last match for this season but we have 2 teams entered for the Primary Large School Tournament on the 18th March.

National Cross Country Championships

We are really proud for Emily and Katie who have been selected to represent St Albans in the National Cross Country Championships in Leicester later in March.  We wish them lots of luck and  we're sure they will do very well.
We look forward to hearing all about it.

Herts Cross Country Championships

On Saturday 4th February a group of year 6 and year 5 children took part in the Hertfordshire Cross Country Championships at Westminster Lodge.  The children were split in to 4 events, year 5 boys, year5 girls, year 6 boys and year 6 girls.  For all the events the children had to run a mile around the park.  In each event there were over 150 children running from schools all over Hertfordshire.
Our children did amazingly well and we are all very proud of them.  They had trained for this and their individual results all reflected determination to do their best.
