Penalty Shoot Out

On Saturday 10 boys took part in a penalty shoot out competition during the St Albans City game at their home ground in Clarence Park and enjoyed watching a great game of football.  The boys formed a guard of honour with the other 3 schools as the two teams came out on to the pitch.  Then at half time the boys went onto the pitch to take their penalties.  We were drawn against Skyswood.   Jack was great in goal, saving 8 of their shots, while the rest of the boys managed to put 7 past the Skyswood keeper.   This means we go through to the next round which will take place in January, which will no doubt be a little colder!   Congratulations to the boys who took part.  Thanks to the parents who brought them and the other children from the school who came along to support.
