Football match vs Fleetville

Wow, what an exciting game!   The 1st team played today against Fleetville.  Despite going 3-1 down we continued to battle and finally levelled to end the game 3-3.  Well done James for a hat trick! Thank you to Mr Ruddick for refereeing.

Cross Country

Our next league meet is Thursday 17th October at Garden Fields.  Girls run at 4pm, boys at 4.10pm.  If you want extra training come to running club on Monday at 8.15 am.

football game v Windermere

Our 2nd team played Windermere in their league today.  Again all the boys played well.  We went 1 goal up very early.  Then Windermere came back and scored 2 in the 1st half.  In the 2nd half they quickly scored 2 more, but I was really proud of the boys as they battled on and scored 2 more goals.  There was an exciting last 5 minutes where we came close to scoring 3 or 4 times, but weren't quite able to find the net, so the final score was 3-4.

WOW Walk Once A Week

This week Bernards Heath Junior School launched their Walk to school initiative. Every child is encouraged to walk to school at least once each week. Children who participate will collect badges each month. Strider greeted the children in the playground on Wednesday morning to great excitement. Thank you to the Sustainable School Ambassadors and also to the two girls in year 4 for their lovely poster.

Football game vs London Colney

Our second team played today in their league, against London Colney.  Our team is made up mainly of year 5 boys so they did very well against a year 6 team, drawing 1-1.

Netball Club

On Monday 30th September, the Netball Club ejoyed a training session with teams from Garden Fields. It was great to see different styles of coaching and we mixed up the teams.
We are looking forward to seeing them all again when we play them in the League.
