Netball Tournament 2015

On Saturday 14th March, our netball team took part in the St Albans Junior Schools' Netball Tournament 2015. They looked extremely smart and professional in the new kit funded by The Daphne Payne Committee. Miss Brown would like to thank Mrs Bye for all her efforts in securing this money and Stevensons in St Albans for supplying the kit at such short notice.
The girls played in Group 1 and played superb netball showing how hard they have worked all year at Netball Club. Miss Brown would like to thank all the girls for showing great skill and sportsmanship in all the games. Also the girls appreciated having the support of their parents and Mrs Kilpatrick.
They won 3 and lost 2 which put them in 3rd place in their group just missing out on a semi-final position.

 Miss Brown and Mrs Withers are continuing Netball Club until the last week of term and will resume in the last half term of the year for Year 5, in preparation for the next netball season, 2015-16.
